What could be better? 140 golfers had fun while doing good on a perfect Coronado day at the Coronado Municipal Golf Course participating in the 28th Annual Coronado Rotary Club Charity Golf Tournament on March 15, 2024. Thanks to our generous donors, Coronado Rotary Club raised more than $80,000 to support such worthy regional causes as San Pasqual Academy, SAFE Harbor Coronado, Feed the Needy and Scouting.
Coronado Rotary is grateful to our major donors, including EDCO Disposal Services, our title sponsor, as well as Carol Sommer, Pat and Debbie Starke, Arlene Inch, Helen Kupka, LPL Financial Services, Ron and Betsy Vernetti, Brian Smock Golf LLC, La Mer, Ed Dougherty, L. Robert Payne, David and Janice Lowenberg, and Robert and Judy Weisman.
We celebrated our winners, the high school team of Weaver, Vargas, Villain and Izuzquiza, along with all the players at a cocktail party at Feast & Fareway following the tournament.
